Founded McSpadden Technology Inc. to serve the web presence needs of small businesses, specifically those in the healthcare industry. A custom CMS built in Ruby on Rails serves as the backbone for each site.

As the only employee, I am responsible to all aspects of the business, including development, which I do exclusively in Ruby on Rails.

Served as both a part-time and contract developer for Trabian, one of the leading web and social media consulting firms in the Credit Union Industry. During this time I lead the migration of the legacy Java CMS to Rails and contributed to several site launches doing everything from HTML and CSS to feature development in Rails.

Served as .NET developer for client in Dallas. Built internal tool to manage the status of the various projects of the firm and to communicate this status to clients. Complied with internal code standard as well as introduced AJAX elements to the team and application.

Served as a part-time developer (30+ hours a week) during my final year at A&M. As part of a three man team, my major contribution was to the 5 month long development of a .NET purchasing system to serve the Harris County Department of Education in Houston, Texas.

I was also responsible for the PHP maintenance and enhancement of the Verizon Verate System. This system allows account representatives and managers to view, claim, update, and further manage their education and public service contracts online.

In addition to my developing duties, I also had the opportunity to lead the interview process for a vacant position on our team.
